Christopher Teasley Jr.
Christopher Teasley Jr. is the founder and CEO of Chuckitup Basketball. Coach Teasley played basketball at Menchville Highschool where he was a team captain his senior year and 4th in scoring in the Peninsula District. He was recruited by several schools. Coach Teasley went on to play college ball at Virginia Wesleyan University where he was a three-year starter and a 1,000 point scorer. During his time at Wesleyan he helped the Marlins make it to 4 consecutive NCAA tournament appearances, one leading to an Elite 8 appearance. He went on to graduate with a BS in Communication and a minor in Psychology.
Professional Career
Harlem Globetrotters
After graduation, Coach Teasley went on to travel with the World Famous Harlem Globetrotters where he was able to play in 29 countries as well as every state except Alaska.
Ireland
Following his stint with the Globetrotters, Coach Teasley played professionally in Ireland for the Port Arlington Kestrels BC. He was named to the first team all league where he was a top 5 performer in the league.
Australia (Tasmania)
After a year long break due to injury, Coach Teasley returned to the court to play for the Burnie Tigers BC in Burnie Tasmania. The season was cut short due to COVID-19. He was the second leading scorer on his team that was 8-1 and sitting at the top of the league before the season was ended.
